A beautiful spring morning in Opua and five of the smaller boats in the fleet were gently anchored on the beach in the early morning. 
It’s time for their out of water safety inspection, and with all the great work Bill has been putting into the fleet they all passed with flying colours.
As the boats waited paitent the tide went out and the sun came out too.
Great Escape operates under the Maritime Operator Safety System (MOSS) and part of our safety system includes regular, comprehensive inspections of the boats and their equipment by an independent authorised Maritime New Zealand surveyor.
We want our sailors to have a fun, safe time out on the water and our crew all work hard to ensure it.
